Project description

This project is located on a farm that raises Breton breed beef cows and Landes of Brittany sheep, with a secondary focus on farm-based tourism. The goal is to restore part of the hedgerow network from the 1950s by planting a double hedgerow around a plot.

This hedgerow will act as a natural barrier, improving the management of agricultural spaces. In addition, a riparian zone (ripisylve) will be planted in the center of the plot to create an ecological corridor connecting two nearby woodlands. These changes will support local biodiversity and enhance landscape resilience. Over time, the hedgerows will play a key role in regulating the microclimate of the area, mitigating extreme weather conditions, and creating a more comfortable environment for the livestock.
