Support regenerative agriculture projects

Is your company concerned about environmental issues and looking to contribute to a local project with high ecological value in your area? MyTree offers you the opportunity to sponsor tree planting on agricultural lands. Planting trees alongside crops and livestock provides real ecological and economic benefits through the numerous services they provide to agriculture and the local environment.

Preservation of local biodiversity

Trees planted on agricultural land promote biodiversity by providing habitat and ecological corridors for a wide variety of plant and animal species. Once mature, these tree lines can host up to 35 species of mammals, 80 species of birds, 8 species of bats, 15 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 100 species of insects.

Protection of water resources

Thanks to their roots, trees reduce water runoff in fields and filter up to 90% of pesticides in the soil.

Protection of crops and livestock against climatic hazards

Trees planted in agricultural plots help to slow down the wind, reducing its speed by half over an area 5 to 10 times the height of the trees. As a natural barrier, trees limit the drying out of crops and provide protection to livestock against heatwaves and extreme weather.

Mitigating the effects of climate change

Planting trees offers a sustainable way to capture and store carbon. With increased exposure to light, trees in agroforestry grow three times faster than those in forests, thereby enhancing their carbon sequestration capacity. One kilometer of hedgerows can sequester between six and ten tons of CO2 each year.

6 good reasons to act with MyTree

No intermediaries

As an operator, we develop our projects ourselves, from field analysis to post-planting management, ensuring complete control over the entire value chain.

Local and Diverse Species

Our projects typically include around fifteen species, all locally sourced, selected for their adaptability to the environment and their capacity to promote the return of biodiversity.

Sustainability

Our trees are planted not to be cut down like those in forests but to enrich biodiversity, enhance agricultural resilience, and beautify landscapes.

Monitoring

To ensure the quality and durability of the plantations, we conduct a 3-year monitoring program and replant if necessary to achieve a 90% success rate.

Impact measurement

We measure the benefits of each of our plantations on ecosystems by relying on precise analysis of scientific and satellite data.

High-quality carbon credits

Our projects generate high-quality carbon credits, validated by independent audits, ensuring the quality, integrity, and transparency of the sequestered carbon.
