Planting trees is one thing, but ensuring their survival is another! At MyTree, we conduct thorough project monitoring, coupled with independent audits, to guarantee the successful development of the plantings and their authenticity.
Field Monitoring
In addition to planting the trees, we carry out rigorous monitoring to ensure their growth. In the year following the planting, we clear the young plants from the herbaceous layer, thereby reducing competition. We also replace dead plants to maintain optimal density. In the third year, we perform formative pruning to structure the trees. These actions ensure the survival and longevity of our plantations.
Satellite Monitoring
Our plantations are recorded in a geospatial database system and monitored through satellite imagery, ensuring their protection and long-term tracking.
Reporting & Deliverables
Project sheet, planting report, photos, videos, interviews... each project is meticulously documented. On-site visits can also be arranged providing a direct immersion to appreciate the results and the real impact of the plantings.
Audits & Carbon Credits
All our projects comply with the highest standards of quality and monitoring, ensuring the legitimacy of the generated carbon credits. To guarantee their integrity, audits conducted by qualified independent third-party organisations verify the carbon additionality, result permanence, and transparency of the actions.
